Scottish Wedding Photography | The VU
Ryan and Hannah had planned just the day that they wanted from start to finish … every little detail had been put in place, the day was finally her and they were ready to become Mr and Mrs !
The weather wasn’t looking good as we started with rain and more rain and even had a little bit of sleet and snow added in just to keep us on our toes … but that didn’t stop Hannah and Ryan getting out onto the jetty at The VU to get some fantastic shots!
We arrived at Houstoun House Hotel, a short drive away from The VU were Hannah, her sister and the bridesmaids were getting ready and it was all laughs with no signs of nerves whatsoever. After Hannah was in her dress and we had taken the photos we wanted we headed off the Ryan at The Vu and where he was putting the final finishing touches to everything .. and was a little nervous.
Hannah arrived and the ceremony was very emotional – drinks were served and by this point the rain had disappeared for a brief time to let us outside for a few shots …. we did groups and then some bride and groom portraits before it was time for the wedding breakfast and speeches.
The venue staff were superb at getting everything changed round without delay and after some great speeches it was first dance. The dance floor was packed as I left and friends and family were having a great time !
